１９７４年、イングランド、マンチェスター生まれ。
現在もマンチェスターを拠点にDJとして音楽活動を行っている。
ドイツ出身でテクノやハウスミュージックをプレイするDJ Hellが主宰するInternational DJ Gigolo labelに参加、そしてアルバム「Chemistry Lock」を発表し注目を浴びる事となる。きっかけは、 ケヴィンが２００６年発表したデモトラックDMXがDJ Hellの目に留まり、フルアルバムの制作を依頼された事による。Gigolo labelに参加したことで、labelの音楽性は、よりテクノのルーツを求めた上質なモノになり、labelの再生に多大に貢献した。
さらに ２００６年の「Soul of Man Presents: Y4K: Breakin’ In Tha House」のリリースを皮切りに、Distinct’ive Recordsなどのレーベルを設立。
そして２００９年３月、ケヴィンは新たなプロジェクト、‘Elements’を始動。独自の目線でサンプリングを行い、オリジナルの楽曲にも劣らないそれらをフィーチャーした楽曲のシリーズが‘Elements‘である。 自身のレーベル、MikrowaveからリリースされたElementsはまさしくケヴィンの音楽性そのものといえるだろう。

Kevin Gorman (born 1974), based in Manchester, England is a British DJ and Musician best known for his album Chemistry Lock on DJ Hell’s International DJ Gigololabel. Kevin is strongly associated with a resurgence of the Gigolo label, as it has moved away from its more notorious Electroclash sound back towards it Technoroots. As alias Cheech, Gorman has had releases on labels such as Distinct’ive Records on their 2006 release Soul of Man Presents: Y4K: Breakin’ In Tha House. His remix credits include the 1991 R&S records release ‘Vamp’ by Outlander, as well as ‘God is Green’ a single by Belfast band Alloy Mental for Skint Records.Gorman, originally from Chester, England first came to the attention of DJ Hell, with a 2006 demo featuring track DMX, which featured heavy usage of the Beat Repeat feature of Ableton Live. This signing led DJ Hell to request a full album from Kevin. [1]In March 2009 Kevin launched his project ‘Elements’ a series of singles featuring the unique aspect of releasing all the component samples of the music alongside the original tracks, as well as a large collection of DJ tools, loops and alternate mixes.[2] The project was released on Mikrowave, Gorman’s own imprint.[3]
