Since graduating from Goldsmiths College Anna Antoniades has become a widely acclaimed and globally showcased designer working in textiles. Originally from London, Anna now bases her work in Tokyo.Her work has been seen in London, Bilbao, and Tokyo, with four shows in London Fashion Week, and a fêted third season collection currently on display. Anna’s work focuses on the relationship between body, garment and space. Trademark design traits include excess folds, bold pleats, and voluptuous drapes layered on the body, which distress form and excentuate sillhouette. Anna’s static installation for Autumn/Winter 2003 showcased at MODORRRA-now Spain’s most famous fashion events, opened to critical acclaim.
