東京都中目黒。以前Plot.webでも紹介させていただいたKinfolk、その建物の階下にあるカフェ、SQUARE Hedges TOKYO。目黒川を渡った先にある道を入った静かなエリアにあり、花屋「farver」に隣接しているカフェである。明るい開放的な雰囲気の店内は、印象的なブルーの壁、天井から吊るされた様々な花のドライフラワー、各所に置かれているガラス瓶に入れられた観葉植物などで彩られている。日中のランチには毎週さまざまな料理が提供されており、特に女性に人気のあるカフェであるのだが、無料wi-fiも設置されているので男性客も気軽に訪れられる場所である。晴れた日に親しい友人と中目黒散策をしている時、休憩がてらふらっと訪れたくなるようなカフェである。一方、夜になるとキャンドルの光が落ち着いたムードにさせてくれるバーへと変わる。アルコールもカクテルから焼酎まで幅広く扱っているのも嬉しい。

SQUARE Hedges TOKYO is another hard-to-find spot for the average person walking the streets of Nakameguro.Hard to find, yet its unique charm makes SQUARE hedges TOKYO a place one will want to return to.Most noticeably on first visit, the owner’s skills as a flower arranger, really come through.SQUARE hedges TOKYO has a comforting light and casual feel, mostly due to the usage of flowers and natural materials throughout the room. Very suiting for a lunchtime visit with, pastas, appetizers, and good selection of daytime beverages as well as a complete alcohol list.
